We have 39 teams from 9 diferent states participating this year. Games will be played at Boulder Creek, Chandler, Goldwater, Desert Edge, Willow Canyon, Apollo and Tolleson.We are honored to have this tournament in the name of one of the top coaches in the country.

Bob Weinheimer has had a big background in baseball and coaching. Bob was a Head Baseball Coach and an Assistant Baseball Coach in New York City and Northern Ohio from 1951 to 1960. He was an assistant coach at Chandler High School in Arizona from 1995 to 2003 and most recently an assistant at Boulder Creek from 2004 to 2007 and 2009.

Coach Bob played minor league baseball for one season as a pitcher with the St. Louis Browns in 1949. He also played at Marietta College which he helps recruit for now. Bob was a teacher and principal for 25 years in the Alhambra Elementary District and he retired in 1985 and Coach Bob is a certified pitching instructor with the National Pitching Association. Coach Bob was inducted into the Arizona High School Baseball Hall of Fame this past June. He was also recognized as the district seven assistant coach of the year at the 2006 national convention. Coach Bob has coached for over 43 years. He coached at Maui College in 2008.

Boulder Creek Baseball would like to thank Coach Bob for all he has done for our baseball program. His number 6 will always hang on the outfield fence with Pride.
